Part 1 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

You do not have to create your own Ark to prepare. There won’t be a similar flood in the future. Genesis 9:11 says so.

The new preparation called for concerns “storing Treasures in Heaven” as mentioned by none other than Jesus Christ.

Matthew 6:19-21 MEV Modern English Version
“Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not break in nor steal, 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

This will really make many rich people sad. Those with an abundance of properties which they love can beg to disagree. You own church buildings or multinational corporations with awesome wealth ? No big deal for Almighty God ! All such materials will not survive according to what the bible teaches.

Matthew 24:35 Modern English Version (MEV)
“35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away.”

To those who store treasures on Earth, Jesus speaks to them even in their hearts as follows:

Luke 16:25
English Standard Version
“But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.”

God will call his children who refuse to prepare for the 2nd Coming of His only begotten Son, in accordance with Righteous Teachings in the New Testament. And he will remind each one of them. “Child, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things…”

Luke 6:20 ESV
“The Beatitudes
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God.”

Matthew 5:3-12 Modern English Version (MEV)
“3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

And who are the “poor in spirit” ? Some say these are the humble people. But one can be humble yet disobedient to the Will of God deep inside. Their “humility” is a disguise in order to have so much willing patrons who can satisfy their wants. Then, they will lavish in so much pleasures while ignoring those poverty stricken, oppressed, sick, and exploited. “Poor in spirit” refers to those who OBEY the Will of God founded on Truth and His Commandments, His Righteousness, the Way of Life taught to Man
