Part 23 – Godly Instructions to Those Who Can Help the Needy

Part 23 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

1 Peter 5 International Standard Version (ISV)
Be Shepherds of God’s Flock
“5 Therefore, as a fellow elder, a witness of the Messiah’s sufferings, and one who shares in the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over it, not because you must but because you want to, and not greedily but eagerly, as God desires. 3 Do not lord it over the people entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock. 4 Then, when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the victor’s crown of glory that will never fade away.

Be Humble and Alert
5 In a similar way, you young people must submit to the elders. All of you must clothe yourselves with humility for the sake of each other, because:

“God opposes the arrogant,
but gives grace to the humble.”

Take note of the instruction to those who can provide for the means towards uplifting the dignity of every man, woman, children, and even the animals on Earth. It clearly says, “Do not lord it over the people entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.”

There have been many protests against exploitation of the needy. Ladies and women turned to prostitution or illegal drug trafficking simply because they were not afforded decent jobs that can meet their basic needs. Poor men were sold in the slaves-for-sale market. Perhaps billions are left uneducated nowadays due to their lack of means to get ongoing education, since getting one means having adequate food, clothing, shelter, and the cash needed to pay educational fees. And yet the protests of millions worldwide have fallen on deaf ears.

It makes us ask, “Where are the real Christians ? Are we all poor? Don’t we have the power to oblige those in control of producing the means to create more so that Man can experience receiving better mercy and grace from the Almighty without having to steal or commit any other crime ?

Suppose Nuclear Power countries aim their missiles at those bankers or owners of banks, and then give them a final warning. Will they finally wake up ? After all, we are doing it for the common good. If those entrusted with such roles and talents cannot OBEY God’s commands, should we not boot them out of the system ?

Would you rather see ALL mankind annihilated by a nuclear holocaust than to replace those entrusted with the means to fully provide for ALL of the human race so that Man can truly draw nearer to the image of God ?

New American Standard Bible
“Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them on the day of the LORD’S wrath; And all the earth will be devoured In the fire of His jealousy, For He will make a complete end, indeed a terrifying one, of all the inhabitants of the earth.”
