Part 25 – Be Patient in Your Walk With Faith in God.

Part 25 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

Let those who have newly discovered that our Holy Bible is definitely applicable in the present life situations, be patient walking with God one day at a time. Do not be discouraged in striving to search for the Will of God for you. Reading and learning God’s Wisdom coming from His own Words through inspired Prophets, Messengers, Apostles, Saints, and other chosen people of God can be very challenging to most beginners. If at this time, a person has not yet developed the habit of reflecting and meditating on biblical teachings, he or she must pray for the Holy Spirit to take him or her there. This is the leap of Faith.

You either believe or you don’t. The Holy Spirit is God’s own Spirit which bears power to energize both consciousness and subconsciousness. “Without God, I can do nothing.” The Holy Spirit is the promised Helper from Almighty Father for those who believe and abide in Jesus Christ.

John 15:5
New American Standard Bible
“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

John 14:12-21 NKJV The Answered Prayer
“12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

Indwelling of the Father and the Son
19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Right after Baptism, the new believer is assisted by the Holy Spirit. When finally, some education has taught that believer the Right Way to get help from the Holy Spirit ( by praying to Jesus Christ and asking ), God will listen to prayers of the Righteous. A believer should learn to communicate with God on a stand alone basis. Therefore, every sinner must also learn to first examine the conscience and actual life, in order to arrive at a spirit of repentance followed by a prayer for pardon. Oftentimes, the believer’s spirit of repentance is first put to the test because prayers tend to be “by memory” and not from the heart. It is when repentance is genuine that pardon is granted. Only then will a believer be able to receive the Holy Spirit in Life.

This discipline of having a good relationship with God should then be used for His greater glory. If studying the bible does not reach reflection and meditation stages, Words of God can bear minimal fruits of the Spirit. While it is true God’s Words are alive and capable of changing lives without Man’s initiatives, it is also true that Satan tempts Man to ignore teachings of God and captivates Man towards loving the world and self instead of loving God above all. This is found in the Parable of the Sower and Seeds. There will oftentimes be a struggle inside of every Man because both God’s Spirit and the enemies in a spiritual world are active in hearts and minds.

Ephesians 6:12
“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual (hosts) of wickedness in the heavenly realm.”

Here is the very reason why God clearly advised Joshua to study, reflect, and meditate on The Book of Laws “day and night”. His Way leaves no time and opportunity for Satan to trick the soul into backsliding. After a steadfast habit is formed, then and only then will you be capable of consistently applying God’s Teachings for His greater glory. It takes time. It takes regular practice. Don’t be impatient with yourself. When weak, call on the Holy Spirit through His Son, Jesus.
