Part 36 – Upholding the Truth is Proof of Faith in God.

Part 36 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

Whenever a person sits in court to testify, he is always required to swear to tell the Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth. With an advent of fake news, scams, deceptions, the whole world is troubled. Our hope is for Truth to prevail.

St. John advised believers in God to love with words as well as actions in the spirit of Truth.

1 John 3:18 NIV
“18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

Psalm 145:18 NIV
“18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

Because our objective is to be able to store Treasures in Heaven, we have to obviously remain acceptable to God who will receive good deeds for future judgment of every person. And to be pleasing to Him, King David clearly told believers that Almighty Father “is near…to all who call on him in Truth.” It implies those without Truth in their hearts and minds will be far from the Lord.

Matthew 7:21-23 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
“21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ “

Lawlessness includes telling lies, that is, according to the bible. It is the way of Satan. We were already forewarned long long time ago about it. For example, St. Paul had said:

2 Thessalonians 2: 7-13 NIV
“7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”
“Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.”
