Part 4 – Ask & Seek God in Prayers.

Part 4 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

Let’s be more realistic. What is the connection between God’s grace and having to prepare for a 2nd Coming of The Lord & Savior ? Is it enough to simply enjoy daily provisions and work for more ? Many people seem to be content with “live and let’s live” for the future holds old age and death, a scenario which forces each one to finally slow down and then stop all the excitement of living — for a happy family, for more adventures with traveling, for assorted experiments. Their wisdom tends to savor all the graces received from God while young, forgetting or ignoring too many complications or interconnected responsibilities with a Christian Life. After all the fun, before dying, there is plenty of time to REPENT.

Galatians 6:7-8 International Standard Version (ISV)
“Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants: 8 The person who sows through human means will harvest decay from human means, but the person who sows in the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.”

Becoming a Christian via the entry point which is Baptism can harness support and graces from many other Christians and entities run by Christians. It is like having parents to foot all the bills. Just ask as per advise of Jesus.

Matthew 7:7 ESV
English Standard Version
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

However, the Will of God does not stop with receiving and enjoying the graces. Believers are given graces for the purpose of becoming capable of continuing to do God’s Will on Earth. This means different activities for countless people blessed with talents and opportunities. To those who have yet to discover what Righteousness of God they can do at certain stages of their lives. the Will of God is found in Joshua 1:8-9. These set of believers would have to pray for more Wisdom to fully comprehend what it is that Almighty Father will surely be pleased about.

Some of the deeds that will reap rewards from God would be as follows:

James 3:8 New International Version
“Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”

Psalm 106:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV)
“3 Blessed are they who observe justice,
who do righteousness at all times!”

Proverbs 11:25 “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

To reap The Crown of Righteousness…

2 Timothy 4 English Standard Version (ESV)
“Preach the Word
4 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”

This ambition of preparing for the 2nd Coming of Jesus requires extensive and consistent diligence in following Joshua 1:8-9 and Matthew 28:18-20.
