Part 8 – What It Means To Prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ
Last year, Jewish scholars tried to predict the End of the World by saying that the Apocalypse will start in September 2017 and that the Rapture will take place after August 2018. This was marked by a Planet X which did appear visible from Earth, and some other “coincidental timing” observed by a Jewish Sage known as Judah, The Righteous, a Rabbi. However, this does not match with what Jesus had communicated to His disciples. He said:
Matthew 24: NKJV “No One Knows the Day or Hour
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
The bible only gives clues — signs and wonders — and a story about four (4) horsemen. Wars, earthquakes, famine, calamities like hurricanes, tornadoes. and the recent floods in Luzon can serve as reminders. Just as in the time of Noah, most people (in fact, almost all except the family of Noah) were not prepared. So they died because of their EVIL.
Israelis thought 2017 would be THE END because of the # 7. They can try to wait for 2027 or 2077 or 2777. Who knows ? What is important would be the individual soul and spirit. Careful review of the bible points to a definition of “the soul”. It is the heart and mind of a person. A human spirit is one which can be mixed with parts of God’s Spirit (spirit of humility, skills, life itself) and parts of The Evil spirit (pride, disrespect, envy, hatred, etc). What God wants Man to have is a consistently Godly spirit. Repentant, dressed in good deeds, compassionate towards the poor and less privileged and sinners,
The recent floods provide opportunities to be compassionate towards fellowmen who are suffering with great inconveniences and sickness. Let us remember to pray for them from today onward.Edit
